Okay as much as I want to go off in a tangent about how exceptional your vocals are! I want to express my feelings about this song. THIS SONG IS AWESOME! Musically I think this could stand perfectly one its on as an instrumental. The piano in the beginning... really this exceeds the limits of dreams! Outstounding progression! THe drums are super fantastic. And I'm so unbelievably impressed by these guitars?! IS THIS YOU PLAYING?! Playing God perhaps? It really is fluent through emotions, everything goes really great, the guitars, organ. Really powerful! Phenominal! Really this is a time still emotion projector human inflictor! hehe if that makes any sense. Your vocals tie together a really really delicate concept. Your voice is strikingly haunting in some parts that really drive icy daggers through me! Really I'm pulled through this again and again! You have really laid it all down so well here. Okay so you're a dreamer!, ANd I'm damn jealous! INCREDIBLE!

Alex, my dear, dear friend, this is the strongest, most all out kick ass piece of gut wrenching, heart shattering, soul bearing music I have ever heard. Listen Chops, I cannot tell you enough how much I love this song. From the first pure note, building to make way for Master Dreamer...all of the twists, turns and spectacular angles this song takes is intense and utterly amazing. It shows a strength inside you that has seeped into your creative spirit. I am so incredibly proud to be your friend.

I am lifted from the shallows of the day to a place far beyond the reach of ordinary mortal thoughts.

I cannot even express the words needed to applaud your sheer gutwrenching intensity as you soar with your music, feelings, communication, power, gentility, knowledge, skill and innate and natural born talent. I'm in the clouds when I listen to your compositions, your lyrics & voice allow me the pleasure of total escapism & we all need to fly free sometimes and have a reason to experience pure joy, tears for the mirror of recognition - hearing you truly expressing what artists desperately want to.

You've painted a masterpiece with every colour in the art box & I throw my hat in the air for this song. Well done Alex - Paint PaletteRainbowHeart

Alex,Your voice is majestic !
Are you involved in theatre or dramatics ? If not, you should get involved some how. You have excellent
musical composition and vocal ability.
This song is a masterpiece !
You have a gift, that is way too obvious ! You have all the talent that is needed to make you a famous composer, artist, and vocalist !
This song is sheer brilliance !
There is so much energy, and emotion in this piece. I can definitely see this as a movie score or a theatrical chorus. You never cease in amazing us, Alex ! Get your music to publishers now ! Make sure you put this track on there as well. I don't have the money to record in a studio right now, but i think that you should save up and get this all recorded onto dat or reel to reel, with those $5,000 mic's.
Were already blown away by your talent.
This song sends shivers down our spine's. Can you imagine what it would do, if it was recorded in a studio ?
This is by far one of the best musical compositions i have ever heard.

I like that kick effect at the beginning. And those guitars are really awesome, so much power in a real clean box. Purely Howe tone too, reminds me of Heart of the sunrise, but much softer, sweeter lines for them.

This is a killer, if you are trying to appeal to any producers, definitely get this one out, I hope you're giving some thought to all that, this is incredible.

I love the movement of this song, it doesn't feel like 5 different parts, it feel like one really long phrase.

You have a terrific voice... Lot of feeling and expession...
Very Joe Cockery in places...
I really like the guitar and bass unison riffs ... great dark tones...

Great ballad but with plenty of guts and energy..

I love the arrangement..
All the instruments are spot on and a real pro production done here...

Lot of interesting stuff going on here and a lot of time and effort been put into this..
Yeah, excellent. :)) (Very Happy)

more brilliance. your voice sounds incredible, the teetering on the edge is really great. there are so many beatufiul grooves nestled in this gem. i really dig the guitar tones you're using, all very classic tubey goodness.really dug the perc work at the 2:30ish area (when you go apeshit on the snare). you get such a lively feel from your pieces, a listener can get all the care and feeding derived from the headphones/speakers. only thing i wasn't daft on was the little string interlude - artifical strings trying to sound natural never sound quite right to me. this is such an organic piece of music, really impressed once again Alex. Man—you have a great voice---If I had your voice I’d back off the reverb---you don’t need it at all (well maybe just a little). Great guitar textures, a real Beatles character to them at times and perhaps an early Sabbath near the end I think. The drum writing is great---composition keeps things interesting-production is clean yet vintage-performances are tight and again---terrific voice! Well done!

Oh dry vocals at the end---must have been using it as an “effect”?

Good golly, sir. This is like Radiohead after some serious voice coaching. Song structure's brilliant, drums are fantastic, the guitars and organ Faints I hope you're touring Laughs Out Loud I like how the vocals move between a sorta recitative, mere sing song speech and soaring wails and croons. Nothing but control and creativity. Clapping

So, so many cool things going on in this song. love the lead guitar! Nodding have to agree with imemine's comment about the guitar sounds...synths (organ, maybe?) are very cool too, and helpful overall, but your voice outshines everything else in this song. Great lyrics, and some serious singing. Well done, my friend. Clapping

So THIS is what I miss when I bury my head in the non-dmusic hole for too long.

I love the arrangement, the instrumentation and sounds really sound great. The guitar is all over, jangly and biting. The drum stuff is cool as hell.

The vocals... shit I'm sure no one else needs to tell you about that. Bowing Down

That held note in the beginning and then the piano sets a very calm tone, but Then, the kick comes in and you know something is about to be transformed. When the organ comes in.. I can't believe it.. just the way this song builds up and then you tear it down and start it back up over and over, makes me think of waking up from a dream, falling back into the dream, and waking myself up again. You think your safe but the dream refuses to give up. When you finally realize you are in the dream, you have control over it, can settle in and have fun with it. That is what you have done. Your dream is being realized.

I'm really liking this song, definately one of your best (from what I've heard 'til now) Piano sounds magnificent (is that you playing?) Great guitars, lovely rocky sound, oh yes, I'm really digging this one and it gets instrumentaly better and better, WAY TO GO!!! Great choice of adding the strings, and then the dissonant piano touches: WONDERFUL...
I'm definately a fond of this one!!! An overwhelming, amazing combination of instrumentation, mixing, producing and vocal performancing talent!!! Clapping Clapping Clapping

yes, this is very good...dramatic and passionate, heavy emotional content, the vocals are really impressive. Really visual, too, it conjures images of a castle surrounded by angry ocean waves, one lonely soul trapped inside, raging against the cruelties of his condition...or something like that.
